As many of you know I love history and have been researching the history around Fremantle/ Perth for a few years since Paully and I started working with Will Axten in Genrefonix Arts Collective.
I’m excited about the way this painting has evolved, as it references my textile background as well as the Western Australian landscape I’ve grown up in, the idea of looking into history through research and gaining a new perspective and connection to place.
